Reading and Writing Goals for 2025

It is now three months into 2025, and I have been contemplating my reading and writing goals for the year.

1. Write twenty poems this year 

Periodically, I will write a collection of poems in a Word document with a set theme. Last year’s collection was about emotional states of mind and objects influence on emotional states. I would like to make some more free-form poems on different themes this year.

2. Creating new Content for Composetales

I plan to continue growing my blog and hope to create some new content this year. I hope to continue posting at least once a week.

3. Starting a new work of fiction

I recently finished a two hundred and fifty-page murder mystery manuscript. I have been working on it for far too long and would like to start writing something else for a while. I am still trying to figure out maybe a historical fiction story this year.

4. Reading thirty books this year

I try to set a goal on GoodReads each year to track my reading and what I am reading or interested in completing.
